With the record-setting $280,000 in grant awards distributed in June, we are now looking forward to the 2026 grant cycle. The grant application period will be open February 1 - February 28.

The funds available for 2026 grants will be announced early next year. The amount is roughly determined by the balance in the Passthrough Fund at the end of the year, augmented by 5% of the WGC Endowment Fund. Right now, we are in the fund-building phase as try to maximize the dollars that will be made available for 2026 grant awards.  Our members and supporters who choose to make a year-end contribution will ensure that we stay on track to grow our impact on women in the Frederick community.

We have distributed over $3.2M in grants since our first grants awards in 2007 and we are so proud of our continued growth and impact.

The 2026 Grants Committee is now forming and WGC members are encouraged to apply. Our grant committee members find their service to be enlightening and rewarding, as they act as the stewards of the funds donated by our members.
