To better acquaint our members and the greater community with our grantees, we are highlighting some of the nonprofit organizations that have received WGC grant funds. This quarter, we reached out to Deb Bisenieks, Executive Director of the Seton Center, to learn more about the organization's mission to provide support services to women in our community.

We’re delighted to welcome McCaskill Financial, Scott McCaskill, and Cause Fokus (Brynne Krispin) as the newest members of the Giving Circle. Our community has expanded to an impressive 507 members. As we continue to grow, every new voice strengthens our shared impact and scales the reach of our collective giving

The 2026 application period for Women’s Giving Circle grants is open through February 28. This year we will fund a record $290,000 in grants to organizations that empower Frederick County women experiencing challenging circumstances. In particular, priority is given to programs in the areas of Education, Health, Housing, and Transportation.

We are thrilled to share that our transition to an independent 501(c)(3) is moving forward! We are officially incorporated in Maryland and have received our IRS letter of determination. This means we are now formally recognized as a federally tax-exempt nonprofit.
