2023 Annual Year In Review

2022

2022 was a year of growth and engagement The Giving Circle awarded $260,000 to local nonprofit organizations serving women in Frederick County. This amount represented our largest grant pool to date.

2021

In 2021, our community began to adjust to living with the pandemic and the work of the Giving Circle continued.  We awarded over $250,000 to local nonprofit organizations serving women in Frederick County. This amount represented our largest grant pool to date.

2020

At the beginning of 2020, we had no idea that our community would be faced with seemingly insurmountable challenges in the face of a global pandemic.  As the nonprofit sector quickly responded to the rapidly increasing need, the Giving Circle stood with our grantees and provided additional support and quick release of funding.

In 2020, the Women's Giving Circle of Frederick County conducted its first-ever Member Survey.  The results demonstrated that our members are passionate about our mission and positive about our focus and operational processes. Nonetheless, the survey produced valuable feedback that will help us to grow our organization, engage our membership and ultimate maximize our funding of the nonprofit organizations in our community that care for and empower women.
