On August 2, the Frederick Steeplechasers Running Club held the 36th annual Frederick Women’s Distance Festival 5K at Frederick Community College. We are very grateful to the Steeplechasers for once again selecting the Giving Circle as the beneficiary of the race proceeds. We are also grateful to our members for supporting the event by running, walking, volunteering, donating, and sponsoring. It's amazing what can be accomplished through the efforts of so many.

Special thanks to WGC grant recipient Frederick Community Foundation for providing/sponsoring the venue again this year! Everyone loves FCC as the race headquarters.

The race had a terrific turnout again this year. With 678 registrants, the race just keeps on growing!

When the books are closed on the race, we look forward to announcing another sizable donation to the Giving Circle.
