BECOME A MEMBER
While contributions to The Women's Giving Circle of Frederick County are accepted in any amount, membership involves a $3,000 pledge, normally completed with donations of $1000/year for three consecutive years. A special pledge opportunity is offered to members who join the Giving Circle before the age of 35, allowing them to pledge $3,000 as six $500 annual payments.
Junior memberships may be initiated with a one-time donation of $500 for girls and young women under the age of 21. Junior members converting to a full adult membership by the age of 25 may apply their $500 junior membership payment to their adult pledge.

If you are ready to become a new member:
1. Fill out the online form below to register your pledge. If preferred, you may download our membership form and mail it to the Community Foundation.
2. Complete your initial payment. Payments may be made online using the Submit Membership Payment button below or mailed to the Community Foundation.
MEMBERSHIP LEVELS
Individual and organizational membership levels are based on the cumulative lifetime donation. We encourage all members who have met their initial pledge obligations to continue giving each year.
Hope Diamond: $30,000 or more
Red Diamond: $20,000 - $29,999
Pink Diamond: $10,000 - $19,999
Diamond: $5,000 - $9,999
Emerald: $3,001 - $4,999
Sapphire: $1,000 - $3,000
Organization: $3,000-$14,999
Organization: $15,000-$49,999
Organization: $$50,000-$99,999
Organization: $100,000+

Online membership payments and other donations are processed through the Community Foundation of Frederick County.

To set up a recurring payment plan (monthly/quarterly) or for more information on other payment options, contact the Community Foundation at 301-695-7660.
Members are encouraged to continue giving when their initial three-year pledge is completed. Pledge renewals can be submitted using the form below, or by downloading and mailing the pledge renewal form.
FUNDRAISE
The Women’s Giving Circle is extremely grateful to the individuals, businesses, and organizations who wish to support our grant program through marketing relationships and fundraising events. To ensure that we associate ourselves with events and organizations that reflect well on the Circle and are transparent to our supporters, we require pre-approval based on the criteria and guidelines set out in our Cause Marketing and Third-Party Fundraising Guidelines.
If you would like to raise funds for the Women's Giving Circle of Frederick County, please review the guidelines and apply at least 45 days prior to your event.
